In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred a youth in Islamabad district, today.

The troops martyred the youth during a cordon and search operation at Nowgam in Verinag area of the district.

The occupation authorities have suspended mobile internet service in Islamabad district.

Earlier, troops martyred four youth, Salman Khan, Shabbir Ahmed Dar, Aashiq Hussain Ganai and Imran Ahmed Butt, during violent cordon and search operation at Panjran in Lassipora area of Pulwama district.

Thousands of people participated in the funeral prayers of the four martyred youth in their native areas in Shopian and Pulwama districts.

Local residents said that after multiple rounds of funeral prayers attended by thousands of mourners, the slain youth were laid to rest in their respective local graveyards.

On the other hand, in a statement issued in Srinagar senior APHC leader and Chairman of Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir, Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai said Kashmir is a political dispute, which could not be resolved by military might. He said New Delhi needs to accept ground realities and resolve dispute politically.

He said a meaningful and sustained dialogue is the only way forward to stop further bloodshed and destruction in occupied Kashmir.

Islami Tanzeem-e-Azadi in a statement in Srinagar said its illegally detained Chairman, Abdul Samad Inqilabi, had been suffering from various ailments but the authorities of Kot Bhalwal Jail in Jammu were not providing him medical care.

High Court of occupied Kashmir has directed the authorities of Udhampur Jail in Jammu to provide medical treatment to unlawfully detained Patron of Muslim Deeni Mahaz, Dr Muhammad Qasim Fakhtoo.
