In Afghanistan, at least fifty people were killed and over hundred others injured in a bomb explosion that hit a mosque during Friday prayers in Kunduz province today (Friday).

In a tweet, Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said the area has been cordoned off for precautionary measures.

No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
