The 65th meeting of governing body of the Lahore Arts Council (Alhamra) was held in Lahore with LAC Board of Governors Chairperson Moneeza Hashmi in chair.

During the meeting, important decisions were made concerning the prosperity, promotion and projection of the organization.

On the occasion, Executive Director Lahore Arts Council Alhamra Saman Rai briefed the board members on the plans, budget and other issues related to the promotion of art and culture. She said that the LAC is also taking steps to make Alhamra more sustainable and accessible place for everyone.

During the meeting Famous poet and member BoG Amjad Islam Amjad praised Alhamra's literary and cultural services.

The Well-known architect Nayyar Ali Dada also gave his valuable views to the meeting. Senior journalist Sohail Warraich also expressed his views on various issues. Director Shakir Ali Museum and artist Amna Pataudi praised the efforts of Executive Director Alhamra Saman Rai and Alhamra's online activities amid of COVID-19.
