Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan has directed the concerned authorities to prepare feasibility report of construction of Chakdara-Rabat Expressway.
Presiding over a meeting in Peshawar, he said the expressway will provide speedy travelling facilities to the people of Lower & Upper Dir, Bajaur and Chitral besides enhancing tourism and trade activities in these areas.
Twenty-six kilometer long expressway will be completed at a total cost of ten point five billion rupees.
The meeting was informed that initially the expressway will be initiated from Chakdara Interchange and it will be further extended in next phases.
It was further informed that five kilometer tunnel is also a part of the expressway which reduce twenty-three kilometer travelling distance.
