The Federal Government is taking concrete steps for development of Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

This was stated by Minister for Gilgit Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir Affairs Ali Amin Gandapur while addressing the License Signing Ceremony in Islamabad for next generation mobile services in these areas.

The Minister said the landmark initiative will help promote tourism in Gilgit Baltistan and Azad Kashmir.

He said the long-standing desire of people of Gilgit Baltistan will be fulfilled soon by granting provisional provincial status to the area.
