President of Malaysian Consultative Council of Islamic Organizations (MAPIM), Mohammad Azmi Abdul Hamid has expressed concern over continued blackout of internet by Indian authorities in occupied Kashmir.
In a statement in Kuala Lumpur, Abdul Hamid called upon the United Nations to do more than just a narrative of events on India’s shutdown of the internet in the occupied territory.
Referring to continued lockdown in occupied Kashmir, Abdul Hamid emphasized that India’s unilateral action in Kashmir was intended not to overcome pandemic but to tighten security and to deny freedom to eight million Kashmiris.
