Gopal Singh Chawla (Punjab Sikh Sangat): Sikh community cordially extends their gratitude to Islamabad for their commendable efforts in promotion of inter-faith harmony. The people and institutions of Pakistan have never mistreated minorities on purpose. Sikh community in Pakistan feels that it is a majority rather than minority. Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah's vision of religious freedom is evident in Pakistan and Kartarpur Corridor is the epitome of religious harmony. India should take note from Pakistan as Sikh community feels strangulated since Modi's government has started to inculcate Hindutva ideologue in their country. Sikh community of Hindustan condemns the brutalities of the Indian government against minorities.
Lt. Gen. (Retd.) Asif Yasin Malik (Defense Analyst): The United States is ashamed of their humiliation in Afghanistan and now they are concerned about the future of Afghanistan. The United States’ global hegemony is at stake since their unceremonious exit from Afghanistan. The strategic location of Afghanistan is very important as it can be considered as backyard of Iran, China, Russia, and Turkey. The political turmoil in Afghanistan could have a spillover effect in all of these major actors that will eventually culminate into regional instability. Furthermore, the UN should shun their hypocritical behavior and formally grant access of foreign assets to the Taliban government.
Munawara Baloch (Member National Assembly): PTI government has acknowledged the grievances of the people of Balochistan and Prime Minister Imran Khan is diligently putting efforts in development of the province. Federal government and institutions are complementing the efforts of provincial government by timely provision of assistance and funds. The development projects for Balochistan are being materialized on ground and flaws in the development mechanism are being rectified by the government. The PTI-led government has started a crackdown on the red tape of bureaucracy that will eventually lead to the completion of development projects. Moreover, the provincial as well as federal governments are focusing on dam construction in Balochistan to overcome the water shortage.
