In occupied Kashmir, despite restrictions, hundreds of people attended the funeral prayers of martyred youth, Mudassir Ahmed Butt, in Shutloo Rafiaabad area of Baramulla district.
Mudassir Ahmed Butt, who was a Hafiz-e-Quran and used to lead prayers at a mosque in Sopore, was martyred by Indian troops during a cordon and search operation in Shutloo area of the district.
People including women from adjacent villages raising pro-freedom, pro-Pakistan and anti-India slogans poured in to have a last glimpse of the martyred Imam at Shutloo.
Meanwhile, the Jammu and Kashmir Islami Tanzeem Azadi has paid glowing tributes to martyred Kashmiri youth, Mudassir Ahmed Butt.
In a statement, the General Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir Islami Tanzeem Azadi, Sheikh Abrar Ahmed, expressed solidarity with the bereaved family members of the martyred youth.
He said that the people of Kashmir have been sacrificing their precious lives for the Kashmir cause and would render any kind of sacrifice for taking the liberation movement to its logical conclusion.
