Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan has stressed the need for unity and cohesion to take a coherent action in fight against coronavirus pandemic.

She was giving media briefing regarding meeting of National Coordination Committee chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad.

The Special Assistant said the decisions of the committee was deferred for a day on the request of Sindh Chief Minister, who had sought some time before making any decision regarding opening of essential industries.

She said the Prime Minister is making all out efforts to promote national narrative in war against coronavirus.
