President Dr. Arif Alvi has said the minorities are enjoying equal civic rights in the country as promised by the constitution of Pakistan.

Talking to a delegation of Minority Community led by former Parliamentary Secretary Khalil George in Islamabad, he said that the government will ensure protection of minorities’ rights in future.

He said minorities in neighboring country are facing Indian state terrorism.  

Khalil George said the minorities of Pakistan will highlight brutalities committed by Indian forces against minorities at ever forum.

Sardar Ranjeet Singh, who was also part of the delegation, said Sikh Community is very grateful to the government on opening of Kartarpur Corridor.
