Prime Minister Imran Khan will pay a two-day official visit to Malaysia from Tuesday.
This was stated by Foreign Office Spokesman Dr. Muhammad Faisal at his weekly briefing in Islamabad on Thursday.
The Prime Minister would be accompanied by a high level delegation.
The spokesperson said this would be the first state visit by any foreign leader since Dr. Mahathir Muhammad assumed office in May 2018 and Prime Minister Imran Khan's first bilateral visit to Malaysia.
Prime Minster Imran Khan and his Malaysian counterpart will have a tête-à-tête which will be followed by delegation-level talks.
Pakistan and Malaysia enjoy warm brotherly relations and the visit of the Prime Minister would provide an opportunity to further cement the existing friendly bilateral relations in diverse fields.
