National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) has announced that vaccination for 12-15 years students will remain suspended till 27th of this month due to ongoing nationwide campaign against Rubella.

This was decided in NCOC's meeting held today with Chairman Asad Umar in the chair.

The forum was apprised about ongoing countrywide obligatory vaccine regime. During the last 48 hours 1.7 million Covid vaccines were administered across the country.

Asad Umar appreciated the efforts of all stakeholders involved in ensuring vaccine administration to citizens in every city. 

Forum was briefed about the mechanism for carrying out necessary COVID protocols and vaccination mechanism for pedestrian crossing into Pakistan from land borders.

The forum emphasized on stepping up administration of second dose to eligible individuals so as to sufficiently raise the immunity level of the population for long term dividends.
