Analysts slam Indian war mongering to divert attention from its serious internal issues
December 18, 2020

Maj. Gen. (Retd.) Ejaz Awan (Defense Analyst): India has malicious agenda to engage Pakistan in a two front war. India is habitual of violating international laws and committing worst atrocities in IIOJK. Indian troops are targeting innocent and unarmed civilians to suppress the indigenous freedom movement in IIOJK. It has been observed that whenever Indian government faces internal crisis, it externalizes the matter by blaming Pakistan. India has never permitted the UN Observer Group to monitor the actual situation in IIOJK. Modi has polarized the Indian society and there is madness going on in that country. The marginalized segments are protesting against Modi's fascist polices. India cannot afford any confrontation with Pakistan at this point of time. The UN must take strict action against India for targeting its personnel.

Lt. Gen. (Retd.) Naeem Khalid Lodhi (Defense Analyst): India can carry out some subversive activities at the border to hide its internal crises. Pakistani security forces are capable enough to give a befitting response to any Indian misadventure. It is high time to teach New Delhi a hard lesson. The United States’ tilt towards India is further escalating tensions in the region. Indian aggression and hostility is posing a serious threat to regional peace. India is envious of Pak-China economic and strategic partnership. India's war mongering towards Pakistan lies on strategic miscalculation.BJP's Hindu fundamentalist approachhas not only tried to monger war outside their borders but also within their own country.

Dr. Sarfraz Khan (IR Expert): There is no military solution of Afghan crisis. Intra-Afghan negotiation is ultimate solution to Afghan conflict. It is appreciable that the world community has endorsed Pakistan's narrative to resolve Afghan dispute. The Kabul government and Taliban must sit together and make adjustments in accordance with the Afghanistan constitution. An Afghan-led and Afghan-owned peace process is imperative for prosperity and welfare of Afghan people. The peace spoiler in the region does not want peace in Afghanistan.

Rahimullah Yusufzai (IR Expert): Pakistan is the direct victim of Afghan war. We have been facing the consequences of Afghan dispute for last many decades. India does not want Taliban to share the power in Kabul government. India is a destabilizing force in Afghanistan. Pakistan is a peaceful country and we have always supported and facilitated the intra Afghan dialogue for durable peace in Afghanistan. The United Nations must play a proactive role to resolve regional issues. The international media has rightly exposed India's malicious agenda to sabotage peace in Pakistan. Islamabad has sufficient evidence that India is using Afghan soil to destabilize Pakistan. It is responsibility of the Kabul government to control the external influence to stabilize their country.
