President Dr Arif Alvi says Pakistan highly values its close and fraternal ties with Libya and wants to further promote bilateral relations in all areas of mutual interest.

He was talking to Ambassador-designate of Pakistan to Libya, Major General (R) Rashad Javed in Islamabad on Wednesday.

President urged Ambassador-designate to take steps for improving commercial relations with Libya and work for the welfare of Pakistani diaspora.

Meanwhile talking to High Commissioner-designate of Pakistan to Rwanda Mr Amir Muhammad Khan, he said that Pakistan and Rwanda enjoyed cordial relations which needed to be further enhanced.
