Russia says that the Taliban are prepared for political compromise in Afghanistan.

Kremlin's envoy to Afghanistan, Zamir Kabulov, said during a conference with former Afghan leader Hamid Karzai in Moscow today [Tuesday] that statements and actions of the Taliban show that they are prepared to consider political offers put forward by other parties to negotiations.

Meanwhile, during an online discussion today, Kabulov said that the Taliban takeover in Afghanistan may be real if no progress is achieved at intra-Afghan talks.
