Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said vigorous efforts are being made for early repatriation of stranded Pakistanis from abroad. 

In a statement on Wednesday, he said thousands of stranded Pakistanis are anxiously waiting for their repatriation and government fully realizes their pain and difficulties. He said we are enhancing our capacity of testing and quarantining overseas Pakistanis upon their arrival in Pakistan so that they can be brought back in large numbers.

He said earlier, we were bringing back 2,000 stranded Pakistanis every week. He said now we will be able to transport over 6,000 citizens from abroad and provide them testing and quarantine facilities with enhanced testing capacity and opening up of more airports in the country.
