Minister for Water Resources Faisal Vawda has said it will be utmost effort of the government to complete Dasu dam by 2022.

Addressing a news conference in Islamabad on Monday, he said that an important meeting on the run of the river project will be held in Peshawar on the 6th of next month. The Minister pointed out that the country is facing losses worth billions of rupees due to non struction of water reservoirs in the country.

He said he has directed the WAPDA to take steps on war footing to address the water related issues.

Faisal Vawda said that the government is committed to address the water woes of Sindh and Karachi.
