A meeting of energy task force was held in Islamabad with Prime Minister Imran Khan in the chair.

The meeting was informed that a comprehensive energy policy and course of action is being devised for the next 25 years in this regard.

Steps are also being taken to reduce dependence on imported fuel and rather use the available resources in the country.

It was also decided in the meeting that a crackdown will be launched on power thieves.
