Newly promoted controllers from News Wing of Radio Pakistan called on Director General Muhammad Asim Khichi in Islamabad on Friday.

The delegation of controllers was led by Director News and Current Affairs Abdul Rauf Khan.

The Controllers, who met the DG included; Amanullah, Ghazanfar Aziz, Javed Ahmed and Ghulam Mujtaba. 

During the meeting, important professional and administrative matters came under discussion.

Speaking on the occasion, the Director General asked the officers to put their best in addressing contemporary challenges of Radio Pakistan.

The Controllers thanked the DG for his efforts in ensuring smooth promotion process.

Later, newly promoted Controllers from Finance and Audit department Muhammad Inam ul Haq and Asad Toor also met and thanked the Director General. 

Meanwhile, a farewell party was arranged for Station Director of Islamabad Station Anila Saleem at Bukhari Auditorium.

Director General Muhammad Asim Khichi and other officers paid rich tribute to Anila Saleem for her services in Radio Pakistan.
