Govt to protect interests of overseas Pakistanis: Shehzad

Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Accountability Shehzad Akbar has said that the government will continue the process of accountability as legal process is underway to bring back the looted money stashed abroad.

Talking to a private news channel, he said details about the 700 billion rupees looted public money will be shared with the nation through media in due course of time.

Shehzad Akbar said the government has gathered important information about the looted public money and agreements have also been signed with ten countries to bring back the money.

He said the government will protect the interests of overseas Pakistanis and business community will be facilitated for boosting economic activities in the country.

To a question, Shehzad Akbar said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government is committed to economic uplift and it is the mission of Prime Minister Imran Khan to hold the corrupt people accountable.
