Minister for Information and Broadcasting Shibli Faraz says we are committed to the cause of strengthening democracy by ensuring transparency in elections.

Talking to media in Islamabad today (Thursday), he said transparent elections are imperative for prosperity of the masses and the country as well.

The Minister said that the government is strengthening the institutions to ensure the welfare of masses.

He said legislation is in progress to ensure the dispensation of prompt justice to the people.

Meanwhile, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Senator Shibli Faraz has said that Prime Minister Imran Khan chaired a meeting of the federal cabinet in Islamabad today (Thursday).

In a tweet, the Minister said that the Prime Minister briefed the Cabinet about his visit to Sri Lanka.

The meeting also discussed Senate election.
