Pakistan and China, reiterating the importance of and support to a peaceful political settlement and all-inclusive setup in Afghanistan, have determined to remain closely engaged over the evolving situation in the region.
This understanding was reached during a video call between National Security Advisor Dr. Moeed W. Yusuf and Chinese State Councilor and Minister of the Public Security of the People's Republic of China Mr. Zhao Kezhi.
During the call, the two leaders discussed regional peace and security as well as other matters of mutual interest.
The Security Advisor said the perpetrators of terrorist attacks on Chinese nationals working in Pakistan will be brought to justice.
They also agreed that the Afghan soil should not be allowed to be used against other countries by terrorists.
