Analysts urge world to take notice of India’s unlawful actions in IIOJ&K
January 26, 2021

Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri (Foreign Office, Spokesperson): It is unfortunate Indian forces are committing massive brutalities and atrocities in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.  India has become the most dangerous countries as far as minorities of various religions are concerned.  International community should exert pressure on India for immediately lifting inhuman military siege in IIOJ&K. International community should also take notice of the current regional situation and hold India accountable for its illegal actions, which are impeding peace and stability in South Asia. Innocent Kashmiris are being killed in fake encounters and cordon-and-search operations, which is highly unfortunate. New Delhi must realize that it cannot break the will of the Kashmir people and suppress their indigenous resistance movement through the use of brute force. Pakistan will continue its moral, political and diplomatic support to people of Kashmir in achieving their right to self-determination.

Dr. Khurram Iqbal (Expert on International Relations): India’s anti-farmers’ policies and blunders committed by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi are being condemned by the global leaders.  India’s failed policies about farmers and so-called secular image stand exposed before the global community.  People living in India have already rejected the fascist policies being pursued by Narendra Modi. India’s society has totally become radicalized owing to Hindutva policies following by the BJP-led government. Due to the unresolved Kashmir dispute, the South Asian region is at the brink of nuclear war and the political and economic future of millions of people in the region are in grave danger. It is the responsibility of the international community to resolve the Kashmir dispute politically to avert the impending catastrophe. It is expected that newly elected US Administration would exert pressure on India for protecting rights of Kashmiris.

Lt. General retired Raza Muhammad Khan (Defence Expert):  Minorities in India are constantly being persecuted by extremist Modi-led regime. The Indian government has converted IIOJ&K into jail by deploying extra military troops in the valley.  New Biden Administration is closing monitoring the ongoing situation in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir. India’s policy towards regional countries are becoming threat for the entire region.  China has already taught lesson to Indian Army at Ladakh.  Pakistan stands firmly and protects its national interest against Indian aggression and brutalities.  Islamabad has already submitted dossiers to the United Nations, containing solid evidences against Indian involvement in subversive activities against Pakistan. Now, it is high time when international community should take notice of Indian aggression and brutalities in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

Gopal Singh Chawla (Chairman Punjabi Sikh Sangat):  India will soon be divided into pieces as Modi-led regime is facing immense pressure from global community.  It is matter of concern that Modi-led regime has badly failed to address genuine concerns of farmers in India.  In India, one person was killed when tens of thousands of Indian farmers stormed the Mughal-era Red Fort complex in Delhi in protest against the new farm laws.  A “tractor rally” called by the protesting farmers in New Delhi clashing with police who fired tear gas and launched a baton-charge as the protesters broke barricades to march to the heart of the city amid Republic Day celebrations. Massive brutalities and atrocities being committed by Indian troops in IIOJ&K are posing serious threat to regional peace and stability. India’s aggressive policy towards its neighbours was putting regional peace and security at stake.  UN Secretary General and other human rights organizations should take notice of the gross violations of human rights and exert pressure on New Delhi to resolve the Kashmir dispute in accordance with wishes and aspirations of the people of Kashmir.
