Ali Muhammad Khan (Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs): Pakistan’s policy about Kashmir remained successful. The PTI-led government always highlighted the Kashmir issue, and exposed Indian’s brutal face and massive human rights violations in IIOJ&K at all appropriate international forums. Islamabad has already presented dossiers to the United Nations, containing solid evidences against India’s involvement in subversive and terrorist activities inside Pakistan. The BJP-led government in India is committing brutalities and atrocities against innocent Kashmiris in the held valley. Modi’s anti-farmers and anti-minorities have put regional peace and stability at stake. India's hegemonic designs are serious threat to peace and security of not only neighbouring countries but the whole South Asian region. India’s illegal occupation of Jammu and Kashmir and its recent actions are not acceptable to the people of Kashmir and they are determined to continue their struggle till withdrawal of the last Indian soldier from the valley.
Dr. Huma Baqai (Expert on International Relations): Indian farmers' are holding protests against three farm acts, which were passed by the Parliament of India in September last year. Farmer unions and their representatives have demanded that the laws be repealed and will not accept anything short of it. Farm leaders have rejected a Supreme Court of India stay order on the farm laws as well as the involvement of a Supreme Court appointed committee. India, which falsely claims to be the largest democracy of the world, is busy in massacring the Kashmiri people in the occupied territory for raising their democratic demands of freedom. Pakistan will continue its moral, political and diplomatic support to people of Kashmir in achieving their right to self-determination.India should stop its subversive activities against Pakistan and resolve the Kashmir issue under the international law to bring peace and stability to the region
Dr. A. Z Hilali (Expert on International Relations): India has been resorting to baseless and negative propaganda against Pakistan to divert global attention from its gross rights abuses in Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IOJ&K). Illegal actions taken by the Indian government in IOJ&K, serious human rights violations and the Hindu fascist agenda are serious threat to regional peace and stability. India’s so-called democracy, black laws are on rise while secularism is on decline. India has also been resorting to aggression along the Line of Control and the Working Boundary for the last many years. Although, Pakistan wants peace, but its desire for peace should not be misconstrued as its weakness.
Lt. Gen. (Retd.) Naeem Khalid Lodhi (Former Defense Minister): India is habitual of maligning Pakistan through falsehood and negative propaganda at the international front. The BJP-led government is using the media and other institutions as proxy tools against Pakistan. Islamabad is pursuing an effective diplomacy to expose Indian atrocities at the international level. It is a diplomatic victory for Pakistan that the international community has started taking notice of India’s worst human rights violations. The world community must hold India accountable for its mischievous activities against neighboring countries. Pakistan has sufficient evidence that proves India's involvement in state-sponsored terrorism in IIOJ&K. It is high time for the regional countries to make collective efforts to contain India's hegemonic agenda, which is posing a serious threat to regional peace and security. The United Nations Security Council must take practical actions against India for committing the worst human rights violations in IIOJ&K.
Lal Chand (Parliamentary Secretary on Human Rights): It is a matter of concern that India has badly failed to address genuine concerns of farmers, who are protesting against agricultural reforms. The Indian government with the help of its armed forces has been pushing the Kashmiri people to the wall denying them their rights and attempting to crush their desire for self-determination. UN Secretary General and other human rights organizations should take cognizance of the gross violations of human rights and exert pressure on India to resolve the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the wishes and aspirations of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. Unresolved Kashmir issue poses serious threat to regional peace and stability. India has badly failed to protect rights of minorities and farmers in its own country.
