Pakistan and Italy have agreed to further expand their bilateral relationship in all dimensions.

The agreement to this effect was reached during the 5th Round of Pakistan-Italy Annual Bilateral Political Consultations held virtually.

Foreign Secretary Sohail Mahmood led the Pakistani side, while Secretary General of Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Ambassador Elisabetta Belloni led the Italian delegation.

Entire spectrum of bilateral relations including fight against the Coronavirus pandemic, cooperation in political, trade economic, energy, defence  sectors,  migration issues and people-to-people exchanges were reviewed during the Consultations.

Views were also exchanged on regional and global issues.
