Experts on International Relations say Pak-Afghan cooperation can turn the region into a zone of opportunity, trade, commerce and transit.

They were expressing their views in a webinar on "Future of Afghanistan: Implications and Options for Pakistan", organized by the Centre for Aerospace and Security Studies in Islamabad.

Earlier, in his opening remarks, Director Nuclear and Strategic Affairs Syed Muhammad Ali said the international community, regional powers, and Afghan stakeholders should learn from costly conflict history and work to prevent its adverse consequences for the region.
