A meeting of the Apex Committee of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, chaired by Governor Shah Farman, was held in Peshawar on Thursday.

The meeting reviewed overall situation and expressed satisfaction over the arrangements made for processions and majalis during Muharram-ul-Haram across the province.

It also decided to strictly implement SOPs devised by the government regarding Muharram activities.

The meeting was informed that government is in contact with PDMA to tackle the flood situation in district Chitral.  The Chief Minister of the KPK Mahmood Khan was also present in meeting.
