Chairman Senate Standing Committee on Information and Broadcasting Senator Faisal Javed has sought the cooperation of members across the aisle to help pass important bills pending in the Senate for legislation.

Talking to media outside Parliament House in Islamabad on Tuesday, he said an authority named 'ZARA' will be established after passage of Zainab Alert Bill to overcome exploitation and abuse of children.

He said an awareness campaign on media will be launched to sensitize the people about this important social issue.

Faisal Javed said similar bills will be presented in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa assemblies soon.
