APHC condemns surge in extrajudicial killings by troops in IIOJK
August 28, 2021

In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference has strongly denounced the surge in extrajudicial killing of innocent youths during so-called cordon and search operations by Indian troops across the territory.

The APHC spokesman in a statement in Srinagar said the killing of youth in fake encounters is a part of India’s well-thought-out plan to suppress their legitimate struggle for securing their inalienable right to self-determination.

He said these gruesome incidents of state terrorism have exposed so-called Indian judiciary and democracy before the world.

The spokesman urged the international community and the United Nations to fulfill their obligations and play role in settling the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the UN Security Council resolutions in the larger interest of peace and prosperity in the region and the world.

The Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party in a statement in Srinagar said one million Indian troops deployed in IIOJK have turned the territory into a hell for its inhabitants and anyone who speaks against the Indian atrocities is either killed or booked under black laws.

On the other hand, Indian police arrested 18 Muslims traders from different areas of Reasi district in Jammu region on the charges of smuggling cattle and took 123 bovines into their possession.

The police arrested three youth during a cordon and search operation in Langate area of Kupwara district.
