Pakistan’s missions abroad observed the Kashmir Black Day to condemn the 74 years of Indian illegal occupation of parts of Jammu and Kashmir, and to reaffirm Pakistan’s unwavering support for the just struggle of the Kashmiri people.
The High Commissions, embassies and consulates in different countries organized a range of activities to raise global awareness about the Jammu and Kashmir dispute and to renew solidarity with the Kashmiri people.
Pakistan’s High Commission in Australia organized seminars in Sydney and Melbourne.
In Sydney seminar, the speakers highlighting grave human rights situation in IIOJK, underscored the urgent need for resolution of the Jammu and Kashmir dispute in accordance with the relevant United Nations resolutions and wishes of the Kashmir people.
Pakistan Embassy Nepal also observed Kashmir Black Day by organizing a talk program wherein participants expressed serious concerns on the media information blockade, and other inhuman actions of Indian government, documented in UN High Commissioner on Human Rights reports.
