Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Farrukh Habib says projects of one thousand billion rupees have been approved for construction sector which will generate economic activity worth 4,100 billion rupees. 

Addressing a news conference in Islamabad on Thursday, he said this investment will create seven hundred thousand new jobs.  

The Minister of State said projects of 373 billion rupees have been approved in Punjab, 74 billion rupees in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and 267 billion rupees in Sindh.

He said twenty thousand housing units under Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme have been completed whereas forty five thousand houses are under construction.

Farrukh Habib said government is working on digitization of land record to end corruption and illegal occupation on state land.
