Dr. Zafar Nawaz Jaspal (IR Expert): The world, especially the western countries, has compromised its values just for the sake of their national and economic ties with India. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is promoting Hindutva ideology aimed at targeting the minorities and particularly Muslims. Indian Hindutva policies are a threat not only to India but to the entire region as well. It is high time that the international community takes serious notice of Indian policies, failing which regional as well as global peace and stability will be at stake. The election in UP is due soon and Modi government has once again started to use anti-Pakistan narrative to increase its vote bank. But the fact is that Pakistan is ready to respond to any Indian aggression or a false flag operation.
Dr. A. Z. Hilali (IR Expert): Constitutionally India is a secular state but in practical terms it has transformed into the most extremist state in the world where there is no security for minorities. Modi-led BJP government is openly supporting the RSS extremists in their bid to forcefully convert the minorities into Hindus. RSS extremists are setting the worst examples of brutalities towards minorities in general and the Muslims in particular. These extremists are being trained and patronized at state level. The Indian claim of being a secular state does not hold validity anymore. It is unfortunate that the international community has adopted criminal silence over grave Indian human rights violations against the minorities. The fact is that the policies of the incumbent Indian government will take India towards isolation and destruction.
Brig. (Retd.) Mehmood Shah (Defense Analyst): Policies of the Indian government will lead to disintegration of India into many parts. The dream of Akhand Bharat will never come true. The heads of state of some countries, including Turkey and Saudi Arabia, have condemned Indian policies of targeting the Muslims. Pakistan urges the international community to take cognizance of unprecedented persecution of minorities in India, particularly of Muslims. Pakistan also called upon the international community, the United Nations and relevant international organizations to play their role in preserving the Islamic heritage sites in India from the attacks of extremist ‘Hindutva’ regime and ensure protection of minorities in that country.
