International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian people is being observed on Wednesday.

The day is observed by the United Nations on 29 November each year to focus world attention on the fact that the question of Palestine remains unresolved.

The day is further marked to attract the world attention that the Palestinian people have yet to attain their right to self-determination without external interference and the right to national independence.
