Chief of Army Staff, General Qamar Javed Bajwa has said that Pakistan earnestly looks forward to enhance mutually beneficial multi-domain relations with Belgium based on common interests.

He was talking to Ambassador of Belgium in Pakistan, Philippe Bronchain, who called on him in Rawalpindi.

During the meeting, both sides reiterated the commitment to enhance bilateral relationship at all tiers.

Matters of mutual interest, regional security situation including latest situation in Afghanistan and enhanced bilateral and defence cooperation also came under discussion.

On the occasion, the Belgian Ambassador appreciated Pakistan's sincere efforts for bringing peace and stability in the region, especially in the Afghan peace process.
