Prime Minister Imran Khan says promotion of technology in the country is one of the top priorities of the government.

Chairing the meeting of Board of Governors of Special Technology Zones Authority in Islamabad on Monday, he reiterated his government's commitment to provide all possible facilities to investors for profitable business activities in the country.

He directed for timely completion of establishment of Islamabad Special Technology Zone.

The Prime Minister was briefed on the progress of establishment of Islamabad Special Technology Zone and was informed that renowned IT companies are showing special interest and commitment to invest in this zone.

The meeting also gave approval to Special Technology Zone Rules 2021.
