Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal has said results of the seventh agricultural census will be available by August.
Addressing an event related to the agricultural census in Islamabad today, he emphasized that reliable and accurate data will be essential for formulating the right policies to usher in a modern agricultural revolution in the country.
Ahsan Iqbal felicitated Pakistan Bureau of Statistics for conducting the exercise after successfully completing the digital population census. He also thanked the provinces for providing manpower for the agricultural census.
The Minister for Planning said the country is embarking on a new journey of development with the advent of the New Year.
He mentioned that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif yesterday launched the five-year national economic plan, Uraan Pakistan.
He highlighted the need to elevate the country to new economic heights and rid it of backwardness, poverty, and unemployment through collective efforts.
