Brig. (R) Engr. Muhammad Amin (Defense Analyst): Our security forces are committed to root out the menace of terrorism from our soil at any cost. However the government is required to take up cross border movement of terrorists from Afghan side into Pakistan with Afghan government. I have been VC Khuzdar Engineering University for four years and I know this area very much. The mountainous terrain of Mangochar area is very hard. It is closet point to Afghan border and there are terrorists’ hideouts in this area. It is almost impossible to man or manage this hard area due to mountainous terrain. Even air surveillance through radars and drones is not effective in this area to trace or find out the terrorists’ hideouts. To get complete success against the terrorism, we have become strong and stable on almost three key fronts; social, economic and political.
