An Indian trainer aircraft crashed in Gujarat’s Mehsana district, leaving a female trainee pilot injured.

This is not the first such incident in India as there have been several plane crashes in the past.

On the one hand, India is discussing the purchase of F-35 aircraft, while on the other, it struggles to maintain its training aircraft.

According to a report of last year,  five hundred and thirty four small and large aircraft of the Indian Air Force have faced accidents over the last thirty years which resulted in the loss of one hundred and fifty two Indian pilots.
