Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information Firdous Ashiq Awan said the PTI government is taking practical steps for welfare and protection of rights of the labour and under-privileged class. 

In her message on Labour Day, she said progress in the country is impossible without improvement of the lot of the laborers, and the government considers labourers as important partners in building "Naya Pakistan."

The Special Assistant said "Mazdoor ka Ehsas Program" will prove a milestone in social protection of labourers.

She reiterated the resolve to introduce such reforms, which improves dignity of labour.
