Pakistan and Turkey have signed a protocol on inter-parliamentary cooperation to enhance bilateral relations at the parliamentary level.

Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaisar and the Speaker of Grand National Assembly of Turkey Mustafa Sentop signed the protocol in Islamabad today (Tuesday).

Supporting reciprocal visits and contacts between parliamentary delegations and strengthening inter-parliamentary friendship groups of Pakistan and Turkey has also been made part of the protocol.

Earlier, Mustafa Sentop called on Asad Qaiser on the side-lines of the PAECO Conference and discussed parliamentary relations between the two countries.
