In Sindh, around 10 million people have badly been affected due to flash floods caused by heavy rains in the province.
Our Karachi correspondent Altaf Pirzado reports that around six hundred thousand affectees have been shifted to one thousand nine hundred and seventy-five relief camps established in the province.
Meanwhile, in a statement, Sindh Minister for Information Sharjeel Inam Memon said that food, drinking water, medicines and other relief goods are being provided to affectees in the camps.
He said that there has been huge loss to the agriculture and crops over three million acres of land in the province have badly been affected.
He said survey of losses to lives, houses and agriculture is being conducted so that affected are compensated as per government policy.
