Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar held a productive meeting with the Secretary-General of the SCO in Bishkek.

The Secretary-General congratulated Pakistan on assuming the Chairmanship of the SCO for 2026–27.

Ishaq Dar shared Pakistan's priorities and proposed approach for its Chairmanship.

The Secretary-General conveyed his support and assured the SCO Secretariat's full cooperation in advancing Pakistan's priorities for the Organization.

Both sides agreed to remain closely engaged and coordinate their efforts throughout Pakistan's Chairmanship.
