
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has said that the European Union is the second biggest trade partner of Pakistan.
She was speaking during a meeting with the Member of European Parliament, Mary Fatima Khan-Hohloch in Lahore today, along with a delegation.
Avenues to boost cooperation in sectors of agriculture and information technology besides trade related issues were discussed.
Speaking on the occasion, Mary Fatima Khan-Hohloch lauded the ongoing public welfare projects in Punjab while the European delegation also appreciated the Chief Minister's measure to issue Minority Cards for minorities' welfare.
