Country Director of German Humanitarian organisation Welt Hunger Helf in Pakistan called on Chairman National Disaster Management Authority Lieutenant General Inam Haider Malik in Islamabad.
They discussed the various modes to address food security management system in view of recent floods and sustainable disaster mitigation models to protect vulnerable communities.
Speaking on the occasion, Chairman NDMA emphasized on conducting the training programs for emergency responders and climate experts.
Both agreed to continue cooperation in building disaster resilience of communities through collaborative training programs and research.
