President Arif Alvi has expressed grief and sorrow over the death of former Chinese President Jiang Zemin.

Condoling his death with the Chinese people, the President in a statement stated that Jiang Zemin was a sagacious politician whose economic reforms ushered in an era of development in China.

President Arif Alvi said the former Chinese President deepened Pak-China friendship and people to people contacts.
