In Syria, four people, including two soldiers, were killed in Israeli missile strikes on Damascus International Airport and its surrounding areas early this morning.

According to Syria's state news agency, the attack put the airport out of service.

Israel has carried out hundreds of air strikes against Syria since the outbreak of civil war in the country in 2011.
