Tribal elders have signed an agreement to maintain peace and harmony in Kurram district at a Grand Jirga in Kohat.

According to District Administration of Kohat, both the sides signed the agreement under the supervision of the Commissioner while forty-five each tribal elders from both sides signed the agreement.

The parties concerned signed a fourteen-point peace accord after mutual consultation.

All the roads in district Kurram will be reopened for transportation besides deploying sufficient security in the area to maintain peace and harmony.
