Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has condemned an attack on a mosque in Ontario Province saying Islamophobia has no place in Canada. 

In a post on social media platform X, he said the attack is cowardly, disturbing and unacceptable.

Meanwhile, the National Council of Canadian Muslims said the attack was part of an alarming rise in Islamophobic hate across the country.
