Pakistan and Azerbaijan have expressed the resolve to further enhance bilateral relations by extending cooperation in diverse sectors, including energy, investment, and tourism.
The understanding was reached during a meeting between the Minister for Privatization and Communications, Abdul Aleem Khan and the Prime Minister of Azerbaijan, Ali Asadov in Baku.
Abdul Aleem Khan highlighted the vast investment opportunities in Pakistan, particularly in the backdrop of privatization of State-Owned Enterprises.
He also invited Azerbaijan to invest in Pakistan's motorway infrastructure and other key sectors, assuring all possible facilitation.
Both sides also discussed development prospects of Azerbaijan-Pakistan strategic partnership in economy, trade, and other areas of mutual interest.
Welcoming the Pakistani delegation, Azeri Prime Minister Ali Asadov reaffirmed the deep-rooted ties between Azerbaijan and Pakistan.
