Federal Minister for Inter-Provincial Coordination and Advisor to the Prime Minister on Political and Public Affairs, Rana Sanaullah Khan has said that the government is fully committed to safeguard religious minorities.
He was addressing a ceremony as chief guest in Faisalabad today that was held to distribute Minority Cards among religious minorities of Punjab.
Rana Sanaullah said country's development is impossible without the welfare of minority communities.
Speaking on the occasion, Punjab Minister for Minority Affairs, Ramesh Singh Arora said that minority Card is a crucial step in providing identity and recognition to members of minority communities.
He said the government is also going to launch an e-learning program for minority children to increase educational opportunities for them.
